St. Francis Wildschönau Sculpture Park Art in the Mountains

St. Francis

By St. Francis there is a hymn of praise to the Creator, under the name of "Canticle of St. Francis" has found worldwide fame and dissemination.

  Based on this, were the sculptors Hubert Flörl nine bronze stations created and integrated into the landscape. The symbiosis between art u nd Nature proposes a new relationship with creation and reflection.

 The pleasant walk between the villages of Niederau and Oberau past the Bergbauernmuseum runs, shows the verses to the sun, to the universe, to the wind and the weather, to the water, the fire, to the world with its fruit and seeds, in love and death.

  The road is accessible all year round and illuminated at night .

The Fraziskusweg Wildschönau is cleared in the winter and a hiking trail beliebeter!

Sculpture Park Mittermoos Wildschönau

Great works of art can be found in a lovely environment and on Markbachjoch! After a pleasant half-hour
walk starting at the top station of the gondola Markbachjoch to get to Mittermoos lift .
, where leads around the snowmaking pond, a small path with many works of art ! The magnificent panorama
of the Wilder Kaiser mountain in the background makes the experience perfect. 

Each year, new figures came anläslich of "Art on the Mountain" 3 of this sculpture park added.

Meanwhile, 30 works of art can be admired by international artists.

On the way to the sculpture park are several cozy mountain huts with a taproom.
