House Astoria is very central in middle of all 3 Wildschönauean Skiregions! The lifts in Oberau are near our house. You have to go about 300 metern and after skiday you can go directly back in front of the door by ski. The ski Profiarea Niederau and the snowguaranteed Auffach with the Skijuwel Wildschönau-Alpbachtal are 3 km away and reachable by car or bus. The bus station is about 80 meters far away from our house. The skibus goes 19 times daily between Niederau and Auffach and is free with the Wildschönau Card.

The skibus goes regulary (19x) between Niederau - Oberau - Roggenboden - Mühltal - Auffach and it is out of costs with the Wildschönau-Card!

For the best Top of the mountains downhill pist at Markbachjoch
(3 km, 760 hm) the Skiing Area Wildschönau was awarded from the "SKIRESORT Service International" with the "Best Black Run"

At "Interalpin" - the largest fair for lifts worldwide the Wildschönau received the award "Best Family Skiing Area" and even the boss Mr. Krogmann was elected to the "Liftworker of the year".

Skiarena Test International

The Skiing Region Wildschönau was awarded from 80 anonym testers to the "Best Family Skiing Region" and even Wildschönau was winner at the category "Friendly Liftstaff". For the excellent support of Runways they give 5,6 of 6 possible points.
